What to Wear to Your Family Portrait Shoot?
The most common question asked before a family portrait photography session is “What should we wear for our family portrait shoot?” Don’t worry we got you covered.
Following are the points for your to-do list to check before coming for a family portrait photoshoot:-
Solid Color Clothes
Solid colors always work best when it comes to family portraits. The portrait becomes more about the people rather than the clothes.
Neutral color clothes are the best choice for a family photograph. Black can be dark for a family portrait but not a bad option. Blue or grey can be the alternatives for black. Avoid dressing half the family in black and half in white as it can create contrast issues in your family portraits.
Outfit Planning
Remember to plan on your outfit for 3 to 4 days before D-day. Clothes that are too tight or too loose tend to be less flattering. Tight t-shirts or shirts often look great for a standing portrait. Check that you can squat, sit on the ground and move around comfortably. Wear clothes which bring out confidence in you.
Other Essentials
To complete your look for the family portrait photograph, pack accessories like a watch, hat, jewellery, tie, spectacles and extra pair of shoes.
Once all the points are checked from your to-do list, the rest is up to us.
